No review of diversity and inclusion materials would be complete without mention of the FIR Toolkit produced by Civil Engineers
Contractors Association (CECA) and available online via Supply Chain School. The strength of the FIR Toolkit lies in its relevance to the site environment. Providing toolbox talks, videos and e-learning modules which tackle fairness, inclusion and respect on site, in site offices and in the more general construction company environment. Its modular approach also means you can use the resources in a flexible way.
Five Major Projects Association members (Balfour Beatty, BAM, Highways England, HS2 and Network Rail) were involved in its development and it has been embraced by many in the construction industry due to the quality and practicality of the resources.
