Finance Manager and CPD Co-ordinator

Ruth joined the association in 2006 in a part time Finance Manager role whilst studying and having a young family. Over the years as her family have grown older, she has taken on more roles and responsibility. One being taking over the running of the Professional Development Programme which won the SME News award for the Best Professional Development Programme in the South East in 2018. She returned part time in 2015 after taking another year of maternity leave and again is increasing her hours as her daughter grows. She is has recently taken on some HR responsibilities while continuing with the Finance and CPD programme. ​ ​

Outside of work Ruth loves to spend time entertaining her family and friends, she loves to cook, be creative and travel the great British coastline in her camper van.
