PVC and HFC Use Decision Brief Template
Summary
Two of London 2012’s core sustainability policies were to restrict the use of PVC and HFCs during the Games. To support these policies, the Decision Brief Template was developed to provide a formal approval process where the use of PVC or HFC was proposed. Suppliers were required to complete the template if they proposed using PVC or HFCs. The template was then subject to a review and checking process within LOCOG, culminating in quarterly reports to the Olympic Board Steering Group.
