Four reasons organisations join the Association
The Major Projects Association cuts across every business sector and every type of major project. Membership provides networking opportunities at the highest level to develop and disseminate better practice in initiating and carrying out major projects.
REASON 1
Sit alongside defence, IT, infrastructure, engineering, construction, manufacturing and business change — and compare what works.
REASON 2
Paid for by a single annual subscription, which covers the cost of attendance at most of our events and programmes.
REASON 03
Most events are confidential seminars on current topics chosen by members. All are written up in detail, and the reports go to members via the website.

Our Professional Development Programme covers people at different points in their career, from Rising Stars to senior leaders.

HOW TO JOIN
Membership rates from 1st August 2026
Member organisations pay an annual subscription, which is the principal source of income for the Association. Choose the tier that matches your organisation.
TIER 01
£10,585
per year, plus VAT
- Unlimited attendance across the core programme
- All confidential seminar reports
- Professional Development Programme places
TIER 02
£1,415
per year, plus VAT
- For recognised academic institutions
- Same access to events and reports
- PhD research grant eligibility
TIER 03
£3,925*
per year, plus VAT *where applicable
- For organisations based outside the UK
- Full access to the knowledge repository
- Attend UK events when you travel
There are no charges for attendance at any of the Association’s core programme of events. In this way, individuals are spared the need to authorise expenditure for each event and to make multiple payments.
Having paid their subscription, the only deterrent for member organisations from taking the fullest possible part in the events is the normal pressure on staff time.
