Kathryn Ambrose is the Major Projects Sustainability Lead at Sellafield Limited. In her current position, Kathryn focuses on driving sustainability initiatives across major infrastructure projects through enhancing project and supply chain collaboration and creating an inclusive workplace culture. Her role involves ensuring these projects are built sustainably, fostering a positive legacy for both the community and the environment.



Kathryn's expertise is internationally recognised, having published academic papers and presented at conferences organised by the International Atomic Energy Authority and the International Commission on Radiological Protection on the topic of safety and sustainability.



Throughout her career, Kathryn has held various roles with experience in environment, health, and safety, operations and programme management. She has led cross-functional teams, managed projects, and collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders, including government regulators and industry groups.
