Supporting our Academic Members

Published

At the end of our 40km sponsored walk yesterday the MPA team congregated at the Said Business School building at Egrove Park – which was the birthplace of the Association back in 1981.  It reminded me very much of our academic roots and the importance of supporting a two way conversation between academic researchers into major projects and those on the coalface of delivery.

So it is timely that two of our academic members have recently reached out and asked us to share something with our wider membership.

The first request comes from Jianfeng Zhao at the University of Northumbria who is seeking views on the significance of variables that should be considered in transport value for money assessment.  Those interested in contributing this work should follow this link.

The second request is an opportunity to apply for a funded PhD on the topic of Sustainability transitions in project settings at the University of Leeds .  Follow the link to find out more.  Please note that the deadline for applications has been extended to 24th April.
