While the Temporary Materials Guidelines provided an overview and a framework as to how to manage the sustainability impacts of temporary materials, the Sourcing Sustainable Materials document gave more detailed information to LOCOG suppliers and contractors on sustainable alternatives to materials that might typically be used in a temporary venue setting.
