It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of Jackie Whitelaw’s death. Jackie was one of the Association’s select group of report writers for many years. She always attended our events with an open mind, a huge smile and full of intellectual curiosity.
Many from our community will also know her as former associate editor for Infrastructure Intelligence – their own piece in memory of Jackie can be found here.
The role of report writer is critical for the Association as we report back to members on so many of our events. There are not many writers that we have entrusted with our voice and reputation, but Jackie was one of those. She will be hard to replace and very greatly missed. Our thoughts go out to her friends and family.
